- Academic Qualifications
- A valid means of identification as a Nigeria. NIN, voter’s card, and driving licence can serve.
- Birth Certificate or age declaration document
- Evidence of health fitness from a recognised health centre in Nigeria
- Evidence of Good character from the village head
- Passport photograph
NPF Training Requirements
Shortlisted candidates are to proceed to the NPF training with the requirements listed below. Don’t forget the story of the 10 virgins.
- Original copies of credentials.
- Four 4 copies of Passport photographs with white backgrounds.
- Original copy of Identity card/Slip.
- Two (2) pairs of white round-neck T-Shirt and Short Nicker.
- Two(2)Pairs of White Trainers shoes and white socks.
- Two(2) pairs of white sportswear.
- Two (2) pairs of white bed Sheets.
- Two(2) pairs of white Pillowcases.
- Face Mask and Hand sanitiser.
- Small Food Flask with two flat plates and a set of cutlery.

NPF Shortlist Status Interpretation
The status of your shortlist on the Police dashboard will be presented as follows:
Shortlist
Should your portal show “Shortlist” it means that you are selected. The subsequent phase of the police selection process. Please note that you may be required to take a Computer-Based Test (CBT) on a specified date, which will be communicated to you either on your dashboard or through the email used for registration.
Under Review
If your dashboard displays “Under Review” it signifies that your submitted application is currently being assessed by management. This status will eventually change to either “Shortlist” or “Not Selected” after the review process.
Not Selected
If your dashboard indicates “Not Selected” it means that your application did not meet the specified requirements or that available slots have been filled. Depending on the circumstances, you might be automatically considered for the next round of the program, or you may need to reapply when registration for the next batch becomes available.
